Rest Insurance
Rest Insurance
Don’t leave it all to luck! Insure your all-in bet and lock in your winnings.
What is it?
Rest Insurance is a feature that protects your winnings when you are the favourite in the hand and go all-in.
How does it work?
Rest Insurance is offered on the Flop or Turn only when there are exactly two players left in the hand and both players are all-in. Insurance is available if the total pot is at least 25 big blinds and the number of “out” cards that can give your opponent the winning hand does not exceed:
- Texas Hold’em: maximum 14 outs in the deck
- Omaha: maximum 10 outs on the Turn and 14 outs on the River
Split pots (when the pot is divided between players) are not taken into account for insurance outs.
A detailed pop-up window explains all available rest insurance options each time insurance is offered.

Rules and Conditions
- Not all possible out cards may be offered for insurance; the system calculates odds based only on the cards offered.
- The system offers insurance according to the winning probability; if the odds of both sides are too close, insurance will not be offered.
- Rest Insurance is available in Hold’em and Omaha games with stakes from TRY 0.50 to 1.00.
- Insurance is offered when there are exactly two active players left before the River card is dealt. Insurance can be offered on the Flop (for the Turn card) and on the Turn (for the River card).
- Chips already in the pot are used to pay for the insurance.
- Insurance is only available when the pot size is greater than 25 big blinds.
- In Texas Hold’em, insurance cannot be used if there are 14 or more outs. In Omaha, insurance cannot be used if there are 10 or more outs on the Flop or 14 or more outs on the Turn.
- If there are several favourites with the same hand, insurance cannot be used.
- If all out cards lead to a split pot, no insurance will be offered.
- Out cards that result in a split pot are not counted as outs for insurance purposes.
- Insurance taken for the Turn card is limited to one-third of the pot.
- Mandatory follow-up insurance may apply in order to guarantee correct payouts; players’ chip counts will not be negatively affected by this.
- If a player buys insurance on the Turn and remains ahead after the Turn, he is required (mandatory insurance) to take insurance on all outs on the River so that the payout is not less than the amount insured on the Turn. This also applies if the countdown expires or the player clicks “Cancel” on River insurance.
- The insurance premium is deducted from the pot. If an insured card (out) arrives, the insurance payout is credited to the player’s balance.
- If, based on probability, your opponent is ahead (even if you are currently leading in chips), insurance will not be offered.
